Recent stamp duty change increase further Conveyancers demand

The property Sector in the UK has been record-breaking for the past two years. This has been based on several factors, but primarily on the low UK interest rates, and up until recently, the inflationary rates were also quite low.  New Builds are also not keeping up with the demands and making the existing inventory go up in pricing simultaneously. The reason why the housing market seems to continue to grow even in this higher interest rate environment is because of the stamp duty cuts.

Even as inflation is at all-time highs and the UK economy seems to be slowing down, the UK government eliminated the stamp duty land tax threshold between £125,000 and £250,000. In fact, first-time home buyers will only have a tax when the property value at the time of purchase is at or above £425,000. After £250,000, the rates for stamp duty go up progressively, with the cap at £1.5 million at 12%.

The UK government is also doing its utmost to push the taxes down even further to stimulate the economy in the correct way and to help reduce the burden many families face. Even the new Prime Minister herself, Liz Truss, wants to get the UK "working again" and make it a place for high-quality positions and an excellent standard of living.
How conveyancing positions will continue to be a staple in-demand position

Even now, there's a huge demand for numerous types of employment to help fulfil these needs. This is true right now in the highly specialised field of conveyancing. To meet these demands, though, as an employer knows, requires the headache of a long recruitment process, as there could be many positions to fill up at once.  You may need to fill a few jobs at once, and with the requirements of a conveyancing specialist being quite standard, you'll want to focus on the right type of recruitment channels to find these legal-based recruitment candidates. Going on more mainstream sites will get a lot of candidates that may not be qualified for conveyancing and eventually cost the most precious resource, which is time.

You don't have to go this alone or stress out your talent acquisition team. You may think that your only external option is with a third-party agency. Yet you also don't need to pay huge agency fees as you recruit one candidate at a time. Save yourself the stressors of being individually on multiple job boards, handling numerous candidates, and working with the right packaging we can help provide.
